- New to indoor cycling?
- You're in the right place. PACE is for first-timers and seasoned riders alike. You control your resistance and ride at your own pace.
- What's a PACE class like?
- 45 minutes of rhythm-based cycling, great music and good energy. Expect climbs, sprints, choreography and an optional weights track - all adaptable to you.
- Do I have to do the choreography?
- Absolutely not. Come for the ride, the music and the atmosphere. If choreography isn't your thing, we recommend choosing a bike towards the back of the studio.
- What if I can't keep up?
- No problem. Slow down, drop the resistance or take a breather whenever you need. It's your ride.
- What do I need?
- Workout gear, trainers, a water bottle and a sweat towel. We have a toilet, but no changing rooms or showers, so come ready to ride. We have lockers to store belongings.
- What should I wear on my feet?
- Our bikes are compatible with SPD cleat cycling shoes, but trainers work perfectly too — the pedals have straps to keep you secure. Either works, so ride in whatever feels best for you.
- When should I arrive?
- For your first ride, arrive 10–15 minutes early so we can get you set up and settled.
- What if I'm late?
- Once the ride starts, we can't admit latecomers. It's partly health & safety, partly protecting the vibe in the room. Please arrive with enough time to get settled, strapped in and ready to ride.
- How do I book?
- Book online, choose your ride and pick your bike. Single rides and ride packs are available.
- What's the cancellation policy?
- Cancel at least 12 hours before class and your ride will be returned to your account. Late cancellations are charged.
- Where is PACE?
- Unit 1, Parnall Road, Fishponds, Bristol, BS16 3JG. We can be a little tricky to find. From Lodge Causeway, follow Parnall Road right to the very end, then take the second entrance to the small industrial estate on your right (M.J. Autobodies will be directly in front of you). Walk about 10 metres in and the large steel door on your right is PACE. We don't have dedicated parking. Stoke View Road car park is free and around a 5-minute walk, with pay-and-display at Buzz Bingo. If you're visiting Morrisons, customer parking is available subject to their terms. Bike racks are also nearby.
